The homeowner had given us a call to get the siding and trim replaced on the home. The house is located in a historic district and has some guidelines on what materials may be used. The historic district was calling for a .046 thick siding panel. The homeowner had given us a call at the beginning of 2021 when materials had been affected heavily from the ongoing pandemic. She was set on getting yellow as the house is near the beach and wanted to keep the beach theme going. The issue was that our manufacturers were not producing a .046 thick panel in the color of yellow. After talking about a few different color options and trying to work with the historic district on possibly going with a different panel thickness it was decided she would wait until the color became available. After about 5 months one of our siding manufacturers finally opened up the rest of the colors available in the correct sized board. We were able to get the siding on order finally. After about another 2 months the siding came in and we were able to install and refresh the home.
