Edwin and Elvy used the bucket lift to work on tearing off the existing siding.
Serving Southeastern Virginia & Northern North Carolina, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake
We had a hard time finding a way to get to the backside of the steeple to hang new siding, trim, and soffit. Typically, we are able to use 60-foot ladders to work our way up there, but the roof was extremely steep, and the steeple sat inset to the roof. We were unable to get any ladders up to the backside.
We ended up giving Herc Rentals a call and getting a telescoping boom lift. This is one of the first times we have worked with one of the bucket lifts. Edwin on our crew has experience working on skyscrapers in the DC area. He was super familiar with the crane and was able to maneuver it around the steeple and the edge of the church roof to allow us to continue work in the area.
